Exceptional Call Monitoring

Unbilled call data is published to our web site within a few days of the calls being made so you are able to view what is happening on your account throughout the month without waiting for your monthly invoice to come through in the post. This allows greater management of your account and cost control.

In addition to this we offer a free service called Exceptional Call Monitoring which allows you to declare a set of rules that will be monitored by our billing platform. If any of these rules are broken, you will be sent an e-mail declaring that exceptional use has occurred which has forced a rule to be broken.

To set an exceptional rule all you need to do is log on to our online billing service which can be located on our web site under the Customer Areas. Enter your account number (minus the leading zero) and your password. Both of these can be found on the first page of your monthly invoice.

Once logged into our web site you will need to select Exceptional Call Traffic link from the side menu.

Click the New Exception button

A new exception set up box appears.

Enter a name for the rule you need to set in the box Exception Description and complete the parameters of the rule in other boxes provided. The boxes required to be completed are based on the type of rule you need to set.

In the example below a rule is set for all numbers starting with 09 which are made during the hours of 9.00am and 5.00 pm which are over 55 minutes in duration.

Once you have completed all the parameters for your rule click the button called add rule.

Your new rule is now set and will be monitored by our system.
