The phones ring simultaneously. Staff can take calls when on test drives or when walking around the dealership site. Callers can be placed on hold using the mobile phone, and transferred to other extensions if required.

Voicemail-to-Email
Car sales and service staff can collect thier voicemail messages via your dealership's email system.
As soon as a customer leaves a voicemail message, an email is sent to the member of staff, with the message attached as an audio file.
The user can listen to the message directly on the PC/Laptop, or may prefer to dial into the telephone system remotely via a mobile phone, or perhaps pick up the message on site from any telephone connected to the system.

Car Dealer Phone System Installation
and User Training
All dealership phone systems are installed by our fully trained & accredited phone system engineers.
Step 1 - Planning / Programming Meeting
We begin the installation process by holding a detailed meeting at your dealership with you to discuss and confirm the requirements of the new dealership telephone system.
A telephone system configuration is agreed upon, and dates/timings are set for staff training and system swap-over.
Step 2 - Phone System Installation
Your new dealership telephone system is installed and tested. Our systems can be wall, floor or rack-mounted, the location of which would have been discussed during the sales process.
Step 3 - Staff Training
Temporary telephones are installed in a meeting room or temporary training area which you designate. All of the telephone users will be fully trained, and we issue phone system training notes and phone manuals as required.
Step 4 - Phone System Swap-Over
We swap to your new phone system out of dealership hours, during the course of an evening or weekend. All crucial system aspects will be operational and tested before we leave site. |

With careful planning we installed the new telephone system for the Bentley Manchester dealership. Everything was tested and ready when the staff moved in.
Step 5 - Hand-holding
We return to the dealership on the day after phone system swap-over to ensure everything is well, make changes if requested, and complete any non-essential configuration or installation work.

West London Audi Gets Connected
Southern Communications helped the world’s biggest Audi dealership to get up and running with a complete NEC communications solution.
Specialist and prestige car retailer Sytner recently opened the dealership in a landmark building next to the busy M4 in West London.
West London Audi Staff need to communicate effectively across the 190,000 feet of floor space and seven floors, and Southern Comms installed the latest NEC SV8100 telephone system.
