Each 5100 Call Server can support up to 500 IP or analogue phone extensions and is supplied with an initial 4 voicemail ports and 1,500 hours of voicemail storage. Basic single-level Auto Attendant is also included.
Constructed on a Linux platform using LDAP database technology, the 5100 Call Server module is the foundation of the Maximiser phone system, hosting all call routing capabilities, voice processing, a SIP Proxy Server, H.323 Gateway & GateKeeper and integral Apache Web Server.
Supplied with an initial capability to support up to 8 analogue extensions, the 5100 Call Server unit can support 8 further analogue telephones and four directly connected IP Phones. More telephones are supported through the addition of LAN switches (for VoIP phones) and Phone Modules (for analogue phones).
Supplied as standard with 4 Basic Rate ISDN telephone lines, trunk capacity can be expanded via two further Basic Rate interfaces, dual Primary Rate ISDN (PRI)/DPNSS, SIP and H.323 IP Trunks.
In scenarios where support for more than 500 users is required, multiple 5100s can be linked together via the IP LAN or WAN to provided a single seamless system for up to 10,000 users.
