NEC DXE HANDSETS
All DXE phones provide a high level of feature functionality and user benefits.
Five models of corded phone are available, profiled to suit the requirements of a range of users,
PLEASE NOTE : New phones are only available as maintenance replacements, however Southern Communications have a large stock of refurbished 2nd user phones available.
All Phones are available in black or white.
NEC DXE 24 KEY LARGE DISPLAY - 24BTSX
The 24 Display Telephone is our top of the range key telephone. It provides all the features of the 24BTX but has improved levels of user interactivity through an enhanced 8 line, 20 character LCD display. The Super Display telephone is ideal for staff who require the benefits of a simpler user interface made possible with a larger display.
The Super Display telephone can also be used as an Operators Console with or without a DSS position. When used as an Operators Position eight of the 24 Function Keys can be assigned to Loop Key working to give the operator more control over the transfer of incoming calls to users.
Key telephones simplify user access by providing soft buttons that can be customised to provide the features an individual user needs. These soft keys (Function Keys) also have LEDs that can be used to show the status of co-workers phones (Busy Lamp Field or BLF).
One touch feature access is a major advantage of key system working. The Functions Keys can also be customised as DSS keys allowing one key dialing of co-workers.
NEC DXE 24 KEY SMALL DISPLAY - 24BTX
The 24BTX has all the features of the 12BTX plus an adaptor slot to take a number of optional plug in interface adaptors:
- RS232/V.24 Adaptor card for 1st Party CTI Connection. The DXE support TAPI 1.4 1st. Party CTI. A serial connection to a PC.
- Analogue Extender Card to allow connection of an analogue phone, fax, modem or answering machine.
- Centronics Adaptor Card for connecting a Printer

The 12BTX has all the features of the 12BT plus a 2 line 20 character display. The LCD display improves the user interface by providing features such:
- CLI Number and name display
- DDI Number and Name
- Missed Call Display
- Dial By Name Directory Dialing

NEC DXE 12 KEY STANDARD HANDSET - 12BT
The 12BT is our entry level key digital telephone providing loud speaking/paging as standard together with 12 Function Keys to provide user customisation.

BASIC DIGITAL PHONE
The DXE Basic Station is a low cost digital telephone. It provides a modern alternative to a single line analogue phone with features such Handsfree Answerback and message waiting lamp indications.
Handsfree Answerback lets users answer Intercom calls without touching the phone. The four fixed feature keys provide quick access to many essential features.
With a high level of functionality the Basic Station is ideally suited to the general phone user who may not require the ease of access to features provided by the advanced multi-button key telephones. |
