PROACTIVE COMMUNICATIONS STATION (PCS 50) – FREE SITE LICENSE WITH SYSTEM
The PCS 50 is a browser based application that adds massive power to the users computer terminal whether it be Windows, Mac OS X and Linux PC.
The application is used to “partner” the Splicecom IP phones, PCS 400 or 100, or Splicecom analogue range the PCS 10 & PCS 5, or existing analogue Phones.
Alternatively, when a USB handset, or headset/microphone – or even a Bluetooth headset in the case of the Mac OS X variant - is connected to the PC it can be used as an IP Softphone.
The same PCS50 browser application is exactly the same application that is run on the PCS400 touch screen phone.

The screen shot above shows an incoming call on a PCS50 screen.
The blue writing at the top shows the information of the inbound caller.
The Red shows the user information of the receiving extension.
The green writing is showing the in built note option available on each call, this information can be exported to other application if required.
The info at the botton of the screen tacks who has answered the call and when and if the calls was transferred from Sarah it would show the next person taking the call exact details of when and who received the call.

The screens above demonstrate the directory dialing within the system, with 10,000 external contacts.
In fact it is actually 50,000 contacts as each contact record has 5 numbers per contact, i.e. home, office, mobile etc.
By selecting a contact and then click on the hand icon on the screen the 5 numbers are shown. What is also unique is that SMS texting is available from the screen and the mobile number can be clicked and an SMS message typed and sent to the mobile.
If person receiving the text sends an SMS text back it will come back to the PCS50 screen that sent it.
User Configuration Screen allows you to Forward, Follow me, BLF, exception
Numbers, Do Not Disturb etc
Because the PCS50 is a browser applications when not in use it can show intranet or specific web pages on the screen as above
The Browser technology is push as well as pull technology and as such relays on the system can be set to display bespoke PHP script information, eg a panic alarm button could be pressed with closes a relay and activates an alarm on all users PCS50 screens.
