SPLICECOM MAXIMISER PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Introducing the maximiser from SpliceCom - a business telephone system, designed and developed in the 21st Century for those requiring between 4 and 10,000 IP or analogue. Completely scalable in design and distributed in architecture, all maximiser systems are built around just four modules representing two core components Call Server and Phone Module. One of these four modules, the 5108 Call Server has been specifically designed to meet the needs of smaller businesses and the branch offices of larger organizations. Embracing open industry standards wherever they exist, all maximiser solutions appear to customers, employees and system administrators alike as a single system, no matter how many separate sites, homeworkers or mobile employees are encompassed. maximiser is configured and managed as a single system via a standard web browser.
Supporting rich functionality including a one number, "go anywhere, reach me any how" facility, GSM mobile extensions, multi-site hot desking, voicemail, auto-attendant, unified messaging and call recording as standard, maximiser is just at home, and more importantly proves cost-effective, for simple 4 extension "dial-tone" PBX requirements as it does in fully converged, multi-site installations.

Proactive Communication Station (PCS)
To compliment maximiser's advanced capabilities SpliceCom offer a wide range of Proactive Communication Stations (PCS), to deliver the ultimate in desktop productivity. PCS 410 is SpliceCom’s latest version of the world’s first “keyless” IP Phone featuring an integrated, full-size VGA (Video Graphics Array), LCD touch screen, to provide context sensitive displays & information. Graphical icons are used to control telephony functions in the same intuitive manner you associate with mobile phones. The PCS 410 can also have pages from the World Wide Web, intranet or web-enabled applications "pushed" directly to its screen. The PCS 100 is an IP System Phone combing all the advantages of IP Telephony with the ease-of-use associated with traditional key phones. The PCS 10 is a display phone with pre-configured system access keys, whilst the PCS 5 is an entry-level business phone and completes the range.
An un-bundled version of the PCS 410 application - PCS 50 - which runs on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux PCs/laptops, is supplied as standard with maximiser. This application can either be utilised as an IP Softphone (Windows/Mac OS X only) or as a “partner” to the PCS 100/10/5 or existing analogue phone.

5100 Call Server

The Call Server Module provides the foundation of the maximiser system and its integrated operating system supports up to 190 digital trunk lines and up to 500 extensions.
As a stand alone unit the Call Server can support physical connections of up to 68 digital trunks (2 x 30 PRI and 8 BRI) and up to 8 extensions (The IP extensions can be any combination of maximiser’s own IP feature handsets, the family, or third party soft/hard IP handsets).
The system has 8 licensed analogue extensions as standard with a further 8 that can be livened as required.
The Call server has a server built in as standard with a 4 port voicemail with full unified messaging which can be expanded to 16 ports.
The 500 extension capacity of each Call Server can be any mix of analogue or IP phones.
The Call Server is supplied preconfigured with 8 Basic Rate trunks and 1 IP User licence. For requirements above this the customer purchases the appropriate licences.
The Call Server Module is supplied complete with an integrated Voicemail and Auto Attendant system of 4 ports and up to 1500 hours storage.
The system is entirely modular up to its maximum capacity of 10,000 extensions, the only requirement being the addition of a further Call Server Module each time the 190 line or 500 extension capacity is exceeded
5315 phone module

5330 phone module

The 5315 is one of the three types of module that make up the maximiser system.
The Phone modules have either 15 or 30 x RJ45 ports which support standard copper wiring (with RJ45 connectors/converters) for direct connection of analogue phones or devices.
The 5315 & 5330 modules also come with 4 x POE switch ports as standard.
The maximiser supports copper wiring runs of up to 100 metres to an analogue phone or device.
A Phone Module connect to the Call Server via a connection (Category 5 or above) from the single 10/100 Megabit Ethernet port at the front of the unit. (This connectivity replaces the need for up to 30 conventional pairs of copper cable being wired back to the Call Server.)
5108 Call Server

The 5108 Call Server is designed for both smaller businesses and remote offices of larger organizations providing physical connectivity for four analogue telephone extensions. This capacity can be increased to support a maximum of eight extensions through the addition of four IP Phones. A single Basic Rate ISDN (BRI) trunk (2 channels) is supplied as standard. This can be expanded through the addition of a second BRI interface. SIP & H.323 IP Trunks are also supported; with the 5108 capable of supporting a maximum of 8 trunks of any type (BRI, SIP & H.323) The 5108 Call Server also offers a 2-8 port voice processing system offering voicemail, auto attendant and meet-me-conferencing facilities.
